Sand Stars Angola is built on a strong and transparent partnership between Norway and Angola. The project is anchored internationally through the Sand Stars Foundation in Norway, which provides governance, financial management, fundraising, and coordination of all Nordic and European exchange programs.

In Angola, the initiative is implemented and operated by MAEF Beach Volley School, our national partner responsible for daily training, athlete management, logistics, and technical development. This dual structure ensures that Sand Stars benefits from both worlds: international best practice and long-term sustainability from the Norwegian foundation, combined with deep local knowledge, leadership and hands-on expertise from MAEF.

Together, the two entities form a unified high-performance ecosystem — one capable of developing Angolan athletes to compete on the global stage
